International Women’s Day in Bangladesh was observed throughout Bangladesh and across the world with a wide variety of colourful activities. Among other events, the UN team in Bangladesh participated in the eight day-long Women’s Day fair, held at Bangladesh Shishu Academy. The UN stall, coordinated by UNIC Dhaka, held a wide range of publications by UN agencies that were distributed amongst the many visitors, some pictured below.
