With the support of UNDP Ain O Salish Kendra (ASK) developed a book entitled: "Lodging a complaint to the NHRC: Users' Handbook for Human Rights Activists". The books provide information about human rights, the mandate of the NHRC and guidelines to submit complaints to the Commission. The handbook will be used by community leaders, formerly working for Village Courts and Shalish to inform the citizens how to lodge a complaint related to human rights violations to the NHRC.

The community leaders benefited also from training on complaints handling by the NHRC and the use of the handbook. The project expert on monitoring and investigation acted as a resource person for the training. The Chairman of the NHRC and Ms Sultana Kamal, Executive Director of ASK launched the book during a ceremony that took place at CBCB Center, Mohammadpur, Dhaka on 16th April, 2012. The Fulltime member of the NHRC addressed the participants at the inaugural session of the training.
