UNDP-GEF supported Barrier Removal for Energy Standards & Labeling (BRESL) Project is supporting and participating at the University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organized exposition entitled "UAP Research and Development Exposition-2012" being held in Dhaka 19-21 July, 2012. BRESL project is showcasing its 6 -Energy Efficient products (refrigerators, air conditioners, electric motor, electronic ballast, electric fan, CFL) to demonstrate its success as one of Bangladesh` first projects on energy efficiency.
The BRESL presence at the exposition will also raise awareness about the role of energy efficient electrical appliances in energy conservation; cost savings and climate change mitigation among the policy makers, students, faculty, other academics and researchers various stake holders. The exposition has been organized by the Department of Institute of Energy, Environment, Research and Development (IEERD), of UAP and is being held in Dhanmondi.
